Japan (dʒəˈpæn; Japanese: 日本 Nihon or Nippon, officially 日本国 Nippon-koku or Nihon-koku) is an island nation in East Asia Located in the Pacific Ocean, it lies to the east of the Sea of Japan, People's Republic of China, North Korea, South Korea and Russia, stretching from the Sea of Okhotsk in the north to the East China Sea and Taiwan in the south. The characters that make up Japan's name mean "sun-origin", which is why Japan is sometimes referred to as the "Land of the Rising Sun".

Japan is a country filled with Japanese culture.

Changing into fashion -
When I think of Japanese fashion I automatically think of Japanese females in the dresses the style of the collar,the layers they wear,the patterns,the silky satin material.

Yohji Yamamoto is a Japanese Designer who in some garments keeps the layering effect.

Christian Sirianos Summer Collection for 2011 New York Fashion Week

These are pieces from the collection which I favoured the most.I chose Christian Siranos collection as he is my inspiration because he started off on Project Catwalk then made something of himself from winning the show.I chose these certain dresses to enlarge out of his 42 piece collection because of the shape and versatile colours and prints he used from the first which is just a simple dress but still keeps to the shape of the body of the model to the second one which reminds of like a sea shell print with a mass of volume like the sixth dress which has a similar shape.The forth and fifth dresses have extra material to create a certain extravagant look if you wish, also a memorable one.which I could imagine the forth one someone wanting to wear it as a wedding dress.The third one which reminds me of an outfit that looks like you could actually go out straight and wear it as it comes with everyday accessories such as a jacket and a belt.
